Wickersley angling started life in 1993 as predominantly a match/bait shop. Gaining a reputation as probably the best bait shop in the area supplying on a regular basis tackle and bait to many a good match angler including world champions Alan and Sandra Scotthorne. With lack of space and carp fishing becoming more popular we have moved into larger premises to cater for ever increasing stock levels of new products. As an orientated match shop and not knowing much in the way of specialist fishing we have set on 2 of the finest specialist anglers in our area.
Chris Angell and Mick Dinnigan
Chris runs the carp department where he has a wealth of experience amongst the carp world. Regularly fieldtesting for various major companies and has played a major hand in designing some of the finest carp rods & tackle on the market today. Chris has vast knowledge and experience for his age and has fished all over England and France for 12years catching carp to 56lbs.
 Mick runs the specialist side of things. With over 34 years fishing knowledge and 14 Drennan cup weekly wins to his name Mick can give advice to any forms of specimen fishing whether it be for barbel,tench, chub or pike.
The match side of things is run by Martin Ulyett a former national champion and has over 100 match wins to his name. Martin knows everything you need to know about pole fishing.
